If there's one thing the pioneers needed, it was one another. Whether it was raising a barn, putting up jars of the summer harvest, or piecing together a wedding quilt; joining together with friends and family was the heartbeat of the mountains.

Be Still My Soul releases today. And we’re having a canning party! The tables are set with cherry pies, homemade dill pickles, and cold lemonade...and you are cordially invited to grab your apron and join us in the kitchen to spread the word about the release. Don’t worry, the recipe is simple!

Here’s what you can do:

  • Tell your friends and family about the book on Facebook. (An easy way to do this, is to visit my author page and simply share from there!)
  • Visit your favorite online bookseller (for instance Amazon, CBD, or B&N) if you would like to order the book or leave a review! If you’re on Amazon, and the story sounds like something you would enjoy, feel free to hit the “like” button at the top.
  • Pin the book to Pinterest (yes, an excuse to pin!!).
  • Don't forget to try the sweet tea over there, you’ve been working hard! Oh, I've got powdered sugar on my nose? Why, thank you for telling me. You have some on your chin, my friend. I think we’ve both been sampling Maybell’s homemade lemon squares.
  • Lastly, before you go, if you have any friends or family who enjoy reading historical fiction or inspirational romance, please feel free to tell them about
Be Still My Soul! Would you like some bookmarks? Contact me or you can also sign up for the Heartfelt Parcel and Post!
Oh, my, I see it’s time for you to go! You can’t leave just yet, though. I need a hug and make sure to take home a jar of green beans and apple butter. May I walk to you to the end of the drive? That way we can chat just a few moments more…
